Wachusett Area Rotary Club 2024 Scholarship Program
Application Deadline: Applications must be RECEIVED by the club by May 3rd
The Wachusett Area Rotary Club is pleased to announce that we will award three $2,000 scholarships to high school seniors who reside in our service area (Holden, Rutland, Paxton, Sterling, Princeton, West Boylston, Boylston;) and plan to attend college in the fall of 2024.
To be eligible for a scholarship, the applicant:
- MUST RESIDE in one of the following towns which form the Club’s service area: Holden, Rutland, Paxton, Sterling, Princeton, West Boylston, Boylston;
- Have demonstrated community involvement;
- Achieved academic standing of some note;
- Have financial need.
To apply, students should complete the 2024 scholarship application. Scan completed and signed applications and submit completed applications along with a copy of the student’s transcript to: WARotaryClub@gmail.com.
In addition to the student’s signature, the application must also be signed by one of the student’s parents or guardian, and by the student’s guidance counselor or principal.
To ensure you are considered for the scholarship, it is important that you use this form and ensure all signatures and a transcript are included. Unfortunately, the WARC will be unable to consider applications that are on other forms, are incomplete, missing signatures or do not include a transcript.
The deadline is May 3rd, 2024 – all applications must be RECEIVED by this date to be considered.
The Wachusett Area Rotary Club will notify each school’s guidance director of its winners before the last week in May. Scholarship recipients will be invited with their parents or guardian to a Rotary Club meeting for the presentation of the check and a photo for press release.
